FAQ's

*These are questions I often receive on my YouTube channel(TheWiseMatthew) or just in my everyday life.  I hope I helped!

#1) My battery seems to drain quickly is there anyway to find out why this is happening?

 A) First, download a battery managing app of your choice from the Play Store, I recommend  JuiseDefender.

Open this up and let it scan your device to find out what is using all your power.

It should either be your operating system(gingerbread, ice cream sandwhich, jellybean etc...) or your screen using the most battery consumption.

If it's your OS then go into your "Manage Apps" settings>running>and force stop any apps that you are not using>then run scan again.
*note-if you are unsure of force stopping an app then leave it be for now.

If your screen is using the most this is normal but you could turn down your screen brightness in your settings to help you with battery drain.

If these fail to increase some battery then you are looking at what is running on your device and if you are rooted than I assume it's whatever ROM you have installed. *Try lowering your CPU speed if rooted it does wonders. ;)

#2) Should I buy a Iphone or a Android smartphone?

 A) This is an easy one....if you own a lot of Apple products maybe an Ipad, IPods, Macbooks, Macs then you will most likely be happier with the Iphone in the Apple universe.  If you maybe own none or an Ipod or two but never joined the camp and are open to new cultures then I say why not give Android a try?!

Android can be as simple and straight forward as you'd like or it can be as open and "hacker'ish"(yup I just made that up) as you want.  It's a young and growing community but it has roots dating back to the creation of Linux, which hs always be about creating open free programs for everyone to enjoy!!  If you like Google products and or services than it's more than worth it to take a look.  Most carriers will allow you to test a phone out for 1 month before you return it but be sure you already have a account with them hehe haha!
