Delicious Chocolate Cocoa Protein Shake

High Protein Chocolate Shake!

So, I aim to keep my body and mind in tip top shape and sometimes I fail lol, but it's important to keep going.  I would like to share some of my recipes I use to help all of you out there who may need some help.  These recipes have worked for me so far so I hope it can do the same for you all enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder(vanilla works also)
1 cup dark chocolate Silk almond milk(again vanilla can be substituted here)
2 tsp nestle cocoa powder
2 cups water

(Optional)
1/3 cup plain greek yogurt
1 tbs peanut or almond butter
2 cups water instead or with milk for a lower calorie drink(the taste WILL suffer)

Directions:
1) Fill shaker bottle(cup of choice) with 2 cups milk first then add your whey protein and cocoa.
2)Mix or shake ingredients well until there are no gross lumps present then just enjoy!

*If using optional items I HIGHLY recommend mixing the PB and Yogurt first then add to container.

Now We're Cookin' Thursday

So breakfast is my favorite meal of the day i'd have to say but I don't always have time to cook up something elaborate so it often has to be something quick, healthy and tasty.  Now oatmeal is my favorite "go-to" dish when i'm low on time or just feel lazy haha.  So, I came across an article mentioning over night oats ah ha yes, people know about soaking oats overnight but what many people have not heard about is soaking those oats in a mason jar overnight and having a very quick, easy, healthy and portable breakfast within a couple of minutes of waking up!  You can add or subtract many different flavors here but here is a basic recipe I use to get you started....
